JOB TITLE: SharePoint Administrator at MAHEC
We are in need of a skilled SharePoint administrator to oversee our SharePoint environment. Your role will involve setting up and managing our SharePoint platform, establishing document libraries, and implementing shared storage space and backup protocols.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and oversee SharePoint sites at MAHEC, integrating them with other systems like Active Directory.
- Maintain optimal uptime and reliability of SharePoint sites.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers, assisting with server network security, server management, and handling escalated Tier 2 trouble tickets.
- Assist with user account control, service desk, informatics, data systems, and IT training within the IT department.
- Offer SharePoint support and training to end-users.
- Work with other MAHEC teams to identify solutions, enhance systems, guarantee reliability, and meet organizational needs effectively.
- Implement and manage projects with organization-wide impacts.
- Participate in after-hours Tier 2 support rotation.

SPECIFIED SKILLS:
- Experience in Microsoft SharePoint management, including site design, creation, and administration, along with OneDrive and Teams integration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, security best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in account management and providing training and support for SharePoint and Microsoft 365 services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively using appropriate resources.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The role is predominantly sedentary, but applicants should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field with 2-3 years of experience or equivalent.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field with 10 years of experience and relevant industry certifications.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
SCHEDULE:
Regular in-person attendance during business hours is necessary, with occasional weekend, holiday, or evening coverage required.
POSITION COMPENSATION: Starting salary at $71,500 annually.
