Job Summary:


In your role as IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing user support, managing our local IT infrastructure, and administering Microsoft 365 (M365) for local and remote users – while working closely with the corporate IT team in Europe. You will play a crucial role in supporting the IT needs of our employees in the US and ensuring smooth IT operations.


Key Responsibilities:


User Support

  • Provide technical support to employees for IT-related inquiries and issues (1st and 2nd level support)
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems
  • Set up and maintain workstations (PCs, laptops, and printers)
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on the use of IT systems


Management of Local IT Infrastructure

  • Administer and maintain server environments (Windows/Linux)
  • Monitor and manage network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls)
  • Ensure data availability and security through regular backups and maintenance
  • Implement and monitory security measures (antivirus, firewall, access control)


M365 Administration

  • Manage and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including user and license management
  • Support the administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 services
  • Implement security and compliance policies within the M365 environment
  • Assist in integrating and automating business processes using M365 tools


Requirements:


  • Associate’s degree or higher in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support and systems administration
  • Strong knowledge of server and network administration
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and related cloud services
  • Excellent problem solving skills and a structured approach to work
  • Strong service orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to address IT concerns in person and remotely
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%
