Job Description:
The Senior Account Manager (Sr. AM) plays a crucial role in sales, strategic planning, and relationship management for targeted customers or territories in Los Angeles. The product and service range includes communication technology, software, and services to enhance mission-critical operations.

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in public safety and related areas.
  • Developing comprehensive sales plans for target accounts and geographies, covering Motorola's entire product and service portfolio.
  • Coordinating internal and external sales resources to understand and fulfill customer needs.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, influencing technology decisions and fostering loyalty towards Motorola Solutions.
  • Pursuing large project opportunities across various product lines.
  • Engaging channel partners to promote Motorola products effectively.
  • Developing procurement strategies for multiple solutions within target accounts.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales experience in public safety or 8+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Prior experience in public safety is advantageous.
  • Experience in outside sales, particularly in government organizations, is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of software solutions, including integrations and deployment.
  • High-tech solutions sales experience is beneficial.
  • Strong relationship management and strategic account management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Capability to form and maintain relationships with C-Level executives.

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales experience in public safety or 8+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Residence in California.

Travel Requirements: 25-50%
