Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Deliver branch contribution margin to meet or exceed annual Plan.
  • Ensure accurate submission of annual, monthly, and bi-weekly forecasts.
  • Provide leadership with updates on significant changes.
  • Identify, manage, and report on special/high-impact projects.
  • Control overhead per the forecast/plan.
  • Maintain an execution plan for stop-work conditions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to ensure superior performance aligned with Anvil's culture and quality standards.
  • Ensure all branch activities are performed safely with zero incidents.
  • Support Anvil's strategic aspiration to be known as Experts of Choice.
  • Develop new strategic engagements and maintain relationships with existing clients.
  • Lead client contract negotiations related to the branch.
  • Oversee all project operations and represent Anvil in the office and the community.
  • Monitor Program Managers to ensure funding limits are not exceeded.
  • Run the branch office and manage Anvil's facilities and equipment.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Business understanding of branch operations.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering theory, design, math, and physics.
  • Interpersonal, organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, and delegation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-aided drafting (CAD) software.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum seven years of related engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineering license is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to sit/stand, perform computer work, occasional bending, lifting, and reaching.
