Position Overview

Role Summary:

The Vice President of Clinical Operations at Encircle Therapy will be instrumental in providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure the effective functioning and sustainability of all clinic sites. This position will collaborate closely with the executive team and various stakeholders to further the mission and objectives of the organization. The role carries significant accountability for the financial and operational success of Encircle Therapy while prioritizing clinical excellence, client satisfaction, and team accountability.

This is a full-time hybrid position, combining remote work with in-person responsibilities. Ideal candidates should be located in the vicinity of our operations for participation in relevant events and meetings.

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Annual salary starting at $95,000 - $115,000, based on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision plans, and employer-paid life insurance
  • Thirteen+ paid holidays, including significant observances and LGBTQIA+ activism days
  • Paid Time Off: 3 weeks (15 days)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Oversight:
    • Maintain a minimum of 5 client sessions weekly, accommodating for cancellations and no-shows.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Guide and mentor clinical directors across all locations while overseeing the entire clinical team.
    • Promote a collaborative and inclusive culture within the Encircle Therapy team.
    • Contribute to the annual strategic planning for Encircle Therapy.
    • Work in partnership with the VP of Operations and Executive Director to ensure the sustainability of therapy services.
    • Hold clinical staff accountable for achieving performance and service delivery standards.
    • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Assist in the formulation and implementation of the clinic's strategic initiatives.
    • Identify avenues for growth and enhancement in service delivery.
    • Lead the introduction of new therapeutic services aligned with the organization's mission.
  • Financial Management:
    • Ensure compliance with insurance billing requirements.
    • Monitor and report on the financial and clinical performance of individual clinicians.
    • Oversee adherence to grant requirements for the clinic.
    • Track financial objectives and progress towards self-sustainability.
  • Collaboration and Community Engagement:
    • Collaborate with the AVP of Programs and local teams to support programming and services.
    • Supervise program internships requiring licensed clinician oversight.
    • Establish and maintain professional relationships with educational institutions and therapy programs.
    • Foster partnerships with other organizations that share similar missions and values.
    • Engage with community events and advocate for Encircle's mission.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and oversee quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient satisfaction metrics.
    • Identify areas for improvement and benchmark performance against industry standards.
    • Regularly review financial reports to monitor clinical revenue and expenses.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Clinical Psychology (PhD), or Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC).
  • Preferred business background or education with experience in running a private practice or working in a non-profit setting.
  • Minimum of 4 years of full licensure.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a mental health or healthcare organization.
  • Current independent licensure in Utah and other states as necessary.
  • Completion of continuing education requirements to maintain clinical licensure.
  • Experience and sensitivity to LGBTQ+ issues and BIPOC communities.
  • Proven ability to hold team members accountable and provide effective coaching.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Adaptability in managing teams through periods of change.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
