Job Description Summary

Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for managing the Vendor Management COE within the People Operations team at Vernova. Your main focus will be leading a team of global vendor management specialists who handle relationships with various vendors providing services in the People Operations workstreams. You will collaborate closely with sourcing, regional delivery teams, and vendors on a daily basis.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with payroll, benefit, and other People Ops services vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for all vendor-related issues.
  • Provide oversight to strategic HR Operations suppliers, ensuring compliance with SLAs, and handling customer escalation support.
  • Lead daily/weekly operations meetings, focusing on timeliness and quality metrics accountability.
  • Manage vendor inventory, contracts, and risk assessments.
  • Set standard terms and conditions for contracts, document best practices and minimum standards for vendor management, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Facilitate routines with 3rd parties and service delivery teams, deliver performance feedback to vendors, and monitor vendor performance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing and Legal teams to negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring adherence to legal and industry standards.
  • Participate in vendor selection and evaluation, develop vendor governance frameworks, and proactively address issues and escalations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize vendor relationships and align strategies with business goals.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Extensive post-education work experience in services, technology, and HR fields.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, flexibility in prioritizing tasks.
Desired:
  • Experience in People Operations Delivery & Administration, program and contract management, problem-solving, and project management.
If contracted in the United States: The salary range for this position is undisclosed. The final salary will depend on factors such as experience, education, and location, in addition to a possible 15% variable incentive bonus.
