In this role, you will need to be technically capable and credible in your own right as well as effective in shaping the customer and partner solutions. Ideal candidates will be adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with other departments within AWS such as our service teams, marketing, professional services, the broader Solutions Architect community, as well as representing our security-focused work to executive management.

As the right candidate, you will possess technical skills in software architecture, info security, compliance initiatives, software deployment and cloud computing as well as customer facing skills at all levels of a partner organization. You should also be able to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. You are a thought leader, and have a hands-on approach that partners are eager to engage with. The ideal candidate can learn new concepts and technologies in a yet-to-be-defined space, is able to communicate effectively with a diverse set of customers or partners across multiple disciplines, and is able to work effectively across internal and external organizations and remote teams.

Key job responsibilities

Partners' trusted advisor: collaborate with AWS account, training, and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS data governance, security and AI services such as Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Sagemaker

Business partner: serve as a key member of the business development and partner management team in helping to ensure partner and customer success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform

Stays closely connected to product teams and works closely with partners to launch with new capabilities as services are launched and features are updated

Public engagement: provide thought leadership on security solutions through external publications such as the AWS Blogs, Whitepapers and Reference architectures, and public presentations at AWS Summits, AWS re:Invent, AWS User Groups or industry events

Community player: capture and share best-practices, participate, and contribute as a member of the worldwide AWS technical community of Solutions Architects, Professional Services Consultants, Technical Account Managers, and AWS Trainers

Evangelize a partners value proposition internally throughout AWS and externally with customers

Driving partner solutions, AWS Partner Network (APN) program attainment, continuous enablement through training, certifications, and go-to-market strategies for differentiation and expansion of their footprint

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
