  • Complete food safety and quality documentation requested by clients, vendors, and internal management
  • Assist with handling supplier documentation
  • Finalize food production registrations and licenses
  • Support in external audits
  • Document Control - Develop and revise documents, conduct annual reviews
  • Oversee QA sample requests
  • Manage ongoing shelf life initiatives
  • Aid in investigating customer complaints
  • Help in preparing reports, agendas, and meeting minutes
  • Track company's Facility Inspection & Internal Auditing program
  • Create and revise training materials and events
  • Manage organic, non-GMO project, and gluten-free certification documents
  • Procure supplies for Quality and Sanitation departments
  • Support in External Audits (SQF, FDA, Clients) and Customer visits
  • Assist in corrective action plans and closures
  • Conduct internal audits on a monthly and annual basis
  • Provide assistance to QA and Sanitation departments as per business requirements
  • Ensure document compliance with corporate retention policies
  • Perform other assignments as directed by QA Supervisor and/or QA Manager

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years of quality assurance department experience
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Data entry proficiency
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with SQF. Preferably SQF Practitioner certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months
  • Preferably HACCP certified or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities for the core duties and responsibilities
