Job Overview

Position Summary: The Quality Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in formulating conformity documentation for the 525 program, ensuring adherence to the regulatory standards of the Bell quality management system. The individual in this position will be tasked with creating, updating, and sustaining processes, procedures, and program plans within the Quality Management System (QMS). Additionally, this role encompasses the responsibility of developing and maintaining the operational procedures for the Bell certified repair station.

Essential Skills:

  • Associate degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Relevant professional experience and technical training may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of pertinent experience is required.
  • Proficiency in drafting internal procedures and designing training programs.
  • Prior experience in a 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station is essential.
  • Proactive approach with the capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Competence in utilizing the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project & Visio).
  • Strong grasp of FAA regulatory standards and effective communication skills for interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, including government entities.
  • Knowledge of Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Statistical Analysis and Project Management techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, possessing excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, update, and revise QMS Procedures as necessary.
  • Revise the Repair Station Training Manual.
  • Update the Repair Station Quality Manual to incorporate the Flight Research Center.
  • Develop a unified FAA Technician Roster for all Repair Stations.
  • Maintain Training Records for all Repair Station personnel.
  • Create and revise procedures for PC Extension.
  • Update and revise all Repair Station Standard Training materials in Brain Shark.
  • Oversee updates and revisions for all ARD Training in Brain Shark.
  • Monitor and track Commercial Quality Escape RCCA.
  • Establish a Drug and Alcohol Random Testing Procedure for all Repair Stations.
  • Create and revise procedures for the addition of CPR/BPR Warehouse to the Quality Management System.
  • Support cross-functional teams engaged in continuous improvement initiatives and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts, including risk assessment and mitigation coordination.
  • Perform duties in alignment with company policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
