About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. As a key member of our West Coast Nuclear Service Group, you will play a critical role in coordinating with diverse disciplines, reviewing designs, and managing projects with autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
  • Review and check designs, drawings, and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractors
  • Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates
  • Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with designated work assignments
  • Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and evaluate technical bids
  • Devise new approaches to technical problems
  • Travel and participate in field installation, checkout, and start-up
  • Direct and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Electrical Engineering design
  • Experience supporting modifications of Nuclear Power Plants preferred
  • Experience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of electrical calculations
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
  • Uranium enrichment facility experience, or equivalent nuclear facility experience, is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with NRC regulatory requirements, particularly 10CFR70 is preferred
