We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing/QA Infection Control to join our esteemed team.

In this pivotal role, you will champion the health and safety of our residents by spearheading the implementation of our infection control program.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the formulation, execution, and continual oversight of our infection control initiative.
Ensure adherence to all pertinent federal, state, and local regulations governing infection prevention and control.
Manage outbreak situations, directing remedial strategies as needed.
Deliver ongoing training and educational sessions to staff on optimal infection control methodologies.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing and other departments to foster a safety-centric culture.
Analyze data patterns to pinpoint trends and instigate enhancement projects.
Maintain meticulous records pertaining to infection control measures.

Required Qualifications:

Active RN licensure in the resident state.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in long-term care or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency in infection control principles and methodologies.
Thorough grasp of regulatory mandates concerning infection prevention and control.
Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven and proactive problem-solving aptitude.
Capacity to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
