Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents
- Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring that all nursing staff are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and development opportunities
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Oregon
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting
- Minimum 6 months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems
