The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment and systems to ensure optimal production quantity and quality, while aligning with the company's objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise, train, and cross-train mechanics across all areas of operation.
  • Develop mechanics' skills and provide necessary training to enhance their performance.
  • Practice and promote safe work habits, including following lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Respond promptly to equipment repair requests from line supervisors or operators.
  • Conduct package change-overs on equipment as needed.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance for equipment.
  • Participate in daily meetings to discuss maintenance objectives and opportunities.
  • Analyze downtime data with the Production Manager to minimize recurring issues.
  • Enforce quality standards to ensure superior product quality and adhere to safety regulations.
  • Continuous improvement by studying processes and implementing changes.
  • Maximize equipment operation through preventive maintenance and efficient scheduling.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing the safety program and reviewing safety records.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments through education and professional networking.
  • Ensure fair and respectful treatment of all employees.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customers, regulatory bodies, and management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physically able to perform job functions, including standing, walking, lifting, and using hands and fingers. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Exposure to varying work environments, including manufacturing plants and warehouse facilities. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.

Minimal to moderate noise levels in typical work environments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the beverage industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, reporting software, and reading schematics.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Business acumen and management skills.
  • Must be 18 years or older and able to pass drug tests and physical exams.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Own transportation required for travel to various locations.
