Job Title: Communications Project Coordinator at Crossroads Talent Solutions, LLC
Basic Function of the Position:
Reports to Director, Event Communications and supports planning and coordination of communications projects related to CES and client. Provides project facilitation and administrative support to the Communications team and interfaces collaboratively across the broader communications and marketing department.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
CES Duties:
- Support Director, Event Communications with press releases, social media copy, content creation, media event preparation, and CES on-site needs.
- Assist in tracking CES budgets and generating monthly reports.
- Aid in developing the CES influencers program.
- Coordinate communications plan for influencers and content producers.
- Oversee Communications Coordinator's on-site responsibilities at the show which includes managing media room work orders, recruiting onsite staff, coordinating housing, and handling travel arrangements.
- Manage communications-related projects, contracts, and agreements as assigned.
- Serve as an official CES spokesperson when required.
- Assist with media portions of pre-CES global events in the US, Europe, and Asia.
- Provide support for key events including client Tech Week, Digital Patriots Dinner, CES Unveiled, and CT Hall of Fame.
- Coordinate logistics for CT Hall of Fame judging/nominations.
- Manage onsite staff and provide general event support as assigned.
- Coordinate Communications Committee meetings.
- Assist in managing member participants and updating listserv for Committee.
- Develop meeting appointments and agendas.
- Serve as a liaison between vendors and the VP/Communications staff.
- Process contracts and invoices.
- Perform other duties to meet business needs.
Work Experience:
-3-5 years' senior level communications and project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Education/Training:
-Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Skills/Capabilities/Technical:
- Must be a self-starter with a global perspective, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Database experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Budget and Staff:
-Provide guidance to temporary employees on-site at CES
