Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in the manufacturing industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, and benefits administration.

They will also collaborate closely with the HR Director to develop and implement new HR strategies. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
Embrace The Betts Way framework and lead by example.
Collaborate with the HR Director to develop and implement new HR strategies.
Support the HR Director in various aspects as required.
Assist in the recruitment process by posting openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
Act as secondary for the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.

Serve as the primary point of contact for employees requesting a Leave of Absence, guiding them through the application process and providing necessary information.

Maintain confidential and accurate records for LOAs in compliance with privacy laws.
Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance and resolution to workplace issues.
Conduct investigations and collaborate with management to address employee concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (Paylocity).
Execute the end-to-end process of employee terminations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Conduct exit interviews and gather valuable feedback to enhance organizational practices.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Organize and manage annual open enrollment.
Stay informed about employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance.
Conduct audits and assessments to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve the way things move.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in HR roles within the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
