About the Position:

Ferrero's Bloomington, IL manufacturing facility, known for products like Crunch, 100Grand, Raisinets, and SnoCaps, is in search of its next Warehouse Supervisor. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse team, ensuring efficient management and supply of materials to support the production schedule effectively.

Being a key leader on the frontline, you will advocate for company policies, guidelines, and best practices, especially focusing on areas such as food safety and health & safety.



Main Responsibilities:
- Managing the Warehouse: oversee incoming materials and outgoing products, maintain accurate inventory levels, and drive initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and cost-efficiency.
- Quality and Food Safety: enforce quality and food safety standards, ensure compliance with GMP and FIFO guidelines for all materials.
- Hygiene and Safety: uphold hygiene and sanitation standards, prioritize health and safety protocols, and ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
- People Management: provide necessary training for warehouse employees, participate in the hiring process, create labor schedules, and conduct timely performance evaluations.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain OR relevant work experience
Experience with SAP is a plus
3 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing warehouse setting
Prior supervisory experience is preferred
Solid understanding of manufacturing production, distribution, and logistics processes
Strong communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure with a sense of urgency
