Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Lead to join our team at HITACHI ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. As a Group Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the production line and ensuring that all daily activities are thoroughly communicated to Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain control over the production line at all times, requiring close interaction with Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
  • Ensure all daily production activities are thoroughly communicated to Supervisors.
  • Perform tasks associated with troubleshooting product quality and performance.
  • Maintain the production line in a safe, neat, clean, and organized environment.
  • Assist as needed on the production line.
  • Respect work hours, support production goals and time-tables, which may require overtime.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills required.
  • Three (3) years manufacturing experience with preference in equipment assembly or high-speed equipment operation.
  • Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate machines properly.
  • Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and visually inspect parts and products.
  • Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
  • Physical strength sufficient to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently.
Working Conditions

This position works in a warehouse/production environment. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment.
