Position: Security Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage the core security infrastructure for TaxBit's engineering teams.
  • Make critical decisions regarding system and security implementations.
  • Enhance engineering standards and processes to foster team growth.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to address system-wide issues.

Professional Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of programming experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in cloud architecture and security.
  • Extensive knowledge of security within cloud environments, particularly AWS.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment and drive improvements in team performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field.

Compensation:
The base salary for this role ranges from $121,636 to $203,504, with potential for additional incentives, equity, and benefits based on various factors.
