Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual to design and implement new network solutions, configure firewalls, and maximize network performance. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Security Operations and work closely with security engineers to provide log visibility and security alerting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new network solutions to improve network efficiency and security
  • Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network performance
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance
  • Plan and perform upgrades, patches, and updates according to client-specific change management process
  • Investigate and troubleshoot network-related issues
  • Configure and manage secure VPN tunnels
  • Report network status to key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar industry experience in cyber security, information technology, network administration, or similar field
  • Five years of industry experience in network administration, management, or engineering, with experience working in a managed service environment highly desirable
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience developing and managing remediation plans/corrective actions
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, information security, and compliance controls
  • Proficient with multiple operating environments, especially Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco environments
  • Experience using an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform for managing requests, incidents, and changes
