Job Summary
Westat is seeking a Contracts Compliance Administrator to join our Corporate Contracts Compliance team. This role will support a team of professionals responsible for managing internal business processes and reporting tools that support compliance and minimize organizational risk. The ideal candidate should be a problem solver and critical thinker who is adept at using various technology platforms and enjoys working with large datasets to provide insight and drive business decisions.
Job Responsibilities
Support contract compliance activities, including the development, maintenance, and support of:
o External US Government systems, including System for Award Management (SAM)
o Corporate representations and certifications
o Past performance and report monitoring (CPARS)
o Government property
o Closeouts
Provide regular updates on corporate activities by maintaining and updating trackers, compiling, and analyzing data, and preparing/distributing recurring status reports.
Ensure adherence to, and the upholding of, the integrity of corporate and government compliance, including meeting reporting and audit deadlines.
Coordinate with internal departments and functions, including Accounting, Business Development, Finance and Legal.
Collaborate with a team of compliance-focused contract administrators and specialists.
Participate in special projects and group process improvement efforts.
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in federal government contracting and compliance or equivalent related work experience.
Demonstrated analytical, project delivery, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be a self-starter and show a high level of initiative.
Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience using team collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Deltek products, including Costpoint.
Knowledge and/or experience in government or commercial contracting.
