About the Role:

Savantage Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Manager to join our team. As a Senior Contract Manager, you will play a critical role in collaborating with proposal and project teams to develop and manage contract solutions for governmental, federal prime, and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop prime and subcontract proposals that meet DoD/Federal Agency requirements.
  • Utilize contracting methods for all phases of the proposal process, from proposal strategy through negotiations to award execution.
  • Develop contract documentation to meet government, Prime, or commercial client requirements and ensure contracts are audit-ready and compliant.
  • Ensure proposals and deliverables are submitted in accordance with company policies and government requirements.
  • Support internal and external contract audits as required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and industry partners.
  • Maintain contract-related documents and correspondence.
  • Present contract information to relevant parties and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot contract-related problems and provide guidance to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to relevant rules and regulations related to contracting, including FAR/DFAR.
  • Support and maintain GSA Schedule, including review of mass modifications, price increases/decreases, and new offers.
  • Review billing and collections to ensure compliance with contractual terms and available funds.

Requirements:

  • At least eight years of experience administering Government contracts & subcontracts exceeding $5 million in total value.
  • Four years of military contracts training and experience.
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence and commitment to building and maintaining strong, positive relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs).
  • The ability to work independently while contributing successfully to cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once, adhering to deadlines.
  • The ability to invent, simplify, and improve contracting processes.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, or related discipline.
  • CPCM certification or CFCM certification, preferred.
