Overview


The Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) is a New Hampshire membership-based not-for-profit organization with the mission to make practical the large-scale manufacturing of engineered tissues and tissue-related technologies, to benefit existing industries and grow new ones.

ARMI was awarded $80 million by the Department of Defense to operate the BioFabUSA program and more recently was awarded the Health and Human Services Foundry for American Biotechnology (NextFab)

Position Description


ARMI is in need of an Accounts Payable Specialist to help with all aspects of the Organization's payables related duties.

This position will work closely with the Controller and accounting team to ensure all invoices are recorded correctly while maintaining high standards of quality and internal controls.


Responsibilities

  • Recording of all invoices in the accounting software
  • Ensuring required authorizations are obtained for all invoices
  • Confirming and documenting receipt of services or materials for all invoices
  • Assemble the weekly check run for signature by compiling the bill payment stub, check, invoice and supporting backup
  • Scan the weekly check run documents to the electronic copies file
  • Work closely with the shipping and receiving team to verify receipt of services and materials
  • Assist in other general accounting areas as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting or one to five years working in the accounts payable field or general accounting field
  • General knowledge and experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is a plus
  • Must be organized with a high attention to detail
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with various departments in the organization
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and quickly changing environment
