A well-capitalized real estate investment firm specializing across a wide array of real estate endeavors, is seeking to add a Head of Investor Relations to their growing team. This individual will be responsible for supporting growth efforts, funding and closing loans on a deal by deal basis, with a primary focus on retail investors.
Vice President Investor Relations Responsibilities:
- Create and implement loan closures on a deal by deal basis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing investors, focused on expanding the network
- Facilitate investor due diligence requests, working alongside other key team members
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact fundraising efforts, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential investors, presenting investment opportunities and effectively articulating the value proposition of the firm
- Collaborate closely with the investment team to understand the unique selling points of our portfolio companies and effectively communicate these to prospective investors.
Vice President Investor Relations Qualifications
- 6-10 years of relevant experience at an investment management firm or similar
- Knowledge and deep understanding of Real Estate ground-up experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Proven experience in capital formation, fundraising, investor relations, or related roles within the venture capital or private equity industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Private Equity and/or Real Estate experience a plus
- Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as a team player
- Strong work ethic and desire to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
