Position Overview
Our client, a publicly listed firm, is in search of an Investor Relations Lead to enhance their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee the precision and legitimacy of all information shared with investors, ensuring that only publicly available data is communicated.
- Supervise the organization and execution of investor meetings, non-deal roadshows, and investor conferences.
- Deliver summarized feedback to management following investor engagements.
- Conduct desktop research to identify the most suitable investors for the firm, including value investors, energy investors, and peer holders.
- Seek opportunities to expand the coverage of sell-side analysts with reputable institutions, particularly within the United States.
- Offer insights and advice on modeling and valuation challenges to ensure published models accurately reflect the company’s analysis and valuation.
- Ensure timely handling of inquiries and requests, providing consistent and validated information that is publicly available.
- Clarify and contextualize operational and financial elements critical to evaluating the fundamental performance of the business.
- Assist the VP of Investor Relations in drafting press releases and other external communications, collaborating with the broader management team to establish key messaging for maximum market impact.
- Support the preparation of quarterly results and the Annual Report.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Investor Relations on capital market transactions (bonds/equity) and potential M&A activities.
- Quickly establish strong working relationships with key personnel across various business units.
- Prepare and review internal Investor Relations reports for senior leadership, analyzing recent trading activities, performance against peers, analyst recommendations, target prices, and other market trends.
- Work in conjunction with the Public Relations team to ensure the company’s website remains current.
- Manage additional projects, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.
