Lead positions work alongside the site supervisor to make the residence an empowering, fun-loving, and safe place for folks to call home. We want those served to thrive with us and DSP leads are critical to our success.

This management-in-training position will provide direct care to persons served with basic life skills, including assistance with hygiene and personal care.

The position is responsible for training employees working at the residential site to ensure the highest quality of service is being provided, among other assigned duties.

The routine work schedule includes early morning, evening, weekend, and daytime hours.

The lead DSP is counted on to work, at times, in unplanned or emergency situations that may require overtime, evening, overnight, weekend, or holiday hours.

However, the trade-off is flexibility at other times of the day. Starting wage is $18.00 per hour.
QualificationsWe are looking for applicants who are compassionate, dependable, patient, creative, energetic and enjoy motivating others. Skills required include strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution ability, problem-solving ability, organization, and time management.

Verification of a minimum of one year of experience providing services to individuals with disabilities in a similar environment is required.

High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation is needed.
