The Business Support Professional plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the organization. This position adheres to established protocols to deliver efficient clerical assistance to various departments and teams. The responsibilities are typically straightforward yet require attention to detail.

The Business Support Professional is responsible for collecting, organizing, and verifying data, ensuring accurate entry into documents such as reports and presentations, as well as maintaining office systems like databases and spreadsheets. This role involves coding and sorting documents for proper processing and filing, along with performing standard calculations to compile and report statistics. The individual will also address routine inquiries from both internal and external sources, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Communication with external suppliers for equipment service and repair is also part of the role. Additional administrative tasks may include answering phones, managing mail, photocopying, filing, operating office equipment, and maintaining inventory levels. The Business Support Professional is expected to understand professional standards and make informed decisions regarding their work priorities while following established guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

  • Fewer than 3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of HEDIS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.
  • Typing speed of 50-55 words per minute
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
  • Commitment to enhancing consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in data entry
  • Familiarity with Lotus Notes, internet research, and proofreading/editing
