As a selected candidate, you will directly support a Member of Congress as part of their office staff, with positions available in Congressional District Offices nationwide.


About the Job:

  • Temporary position with a full-time work schedule
  • Opportunity for career growth within the government
  • Salary ranges from $54,000 to $66,000 per year
  • Location: San Bernardino, CA
  • Telework not eligible
  • Some travel may be required
  • Relocation expenses not covered

Responsibilities:

As part of the Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program, you will have the chance to engage in a variety of duties, including:

  • Assisting in resolving issues with federal agencies for local constituents
  • Acting as a liaison to local Veterans Service Organizations
  • Representing the Member of Congress at local events and meetings
  • Contributing to legislative work

The specific responsibilities will be discussed in detail during the interview process.


Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to work independently
  • High School Diploma required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you must be a Veteran, a Gold Star Family member, or an Active-Duty Spouse, meeting all the specified requirements. No exceptions will be made.
