As a Transportation Management Specialist, you'll have a key role in spearheading strategic IT improvements and solutions to enhance our system setup.

This involves strategizing, coordinating, and implementing projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency and creating business value within the supply chain.

Working closely with global teams, our local business transformation office, as well as both business and IT departments, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing IT project portfolios and contributing to IT solution delivery teams.

Familiarity with PPM tools such as JIRA and Service Now, coupled with a foundational understanding of SAP, will be beneficial. Individuals with educational backgrounds in technology, project management, or business are welcome to apply.

The primary aim of this role is to boost end users' operational efficiency, ultimately driving overall supply chain effectiveness and performance.


Position Type:
Full-Time

This role is part of ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, allowing remote work for up to 3 days per week and in-office presence for at least 2 days.

Supports direct leader in executing the Supply Chain Management strategy.
  • Assists in testing new procedures and systems.
  • Provides input on process enhancements for the designated area.
  • Establishes and maintains relevant Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
  • Analyzes data to suggest appropriate actions.
  • Abides by ALDI's privacy and security measures when handling confidential information.
  • Demonstrates effective time management and prepares written materials tailored to purpose and audience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of at least one programming language like VBA, R, SQL, or Python.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is a prerequisite.
  • Work may be conducted in an office, remote office, or a hybrid setting utilizing necessary equipment.
