SAQ Zone Specialist Job Description

MasTec Communications Group is a leading national infrastructure construction company operating throughout the United States. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional services in cell tower construction, RF engineering, broadband fiber optic cable installation, OSP engineering, wireline construction, and emergency maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and obtain zoning and permitting approvals for projects across the country.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local jurisdictions to ensure smooth permitting processes.
  • Compile and update zoning trackers to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission of permit applications.
  • Track and follow up on permit applications to ensure timely approvals.
  • Identify and address potential zoning and permitting issues before they impact projects.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in zoning or urban planning a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
