Job Description

Job Summary:

The Member Engagement Specialist is the main point of contact for developing and managing the member survey, dormant account activation, and member onboarding programs to enhance engagement and build stronger relationships within the Credit Union's Retail channels.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process new account applications from field-based events or online channels,
  • Make welcome calls to new members and identify opportunities to deepen member relationships by offering product and service solutions proactively.
  • Follow up with surveys through calls/emails to address any member concerns.
  • Respond to email inquiries from multiple inboxes managed by the Member Engagement Team.
  • Initiate account activation calls for dormant members to reactivate their accounts and introduce credit union products and services.
  • Participate in a concierge team to address member inquiries related to specific marketing and campaign initiatives targeted at the public.
  • Update reports on new and dormant accounts based on account openings and activation efforts.
  • Handle member escalation calls by applying critical thinking and collaborating with other departments.
  • Complete other assigned job duties.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
