Job Overview

The Clinical Trial Patient Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in spearheading and managing patient recruitment initiatives to achieve monthly enrollment objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying suitable candidates for studies based on specific protocol criteria.
  • Acting as a bridge between clinical trial participants, their families, and the Visionary Investigators Network to ensure seamless care.
  • Assisting candidates in transitioning from outpatient care to participation in clinical studies.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with referral sources, including local case management agencies, hospitals, and healthcare providers; identifying opportunities for expansion; and organizing community outreach activities.
  • Conducting pre-screening informed consent processes when necessary and gathering demographic and clinical data.
  • Managing the pre-screen database for the site, ensuring accurate data entry, updating participant records, and providing guidance on its effective use.
  • Addressing inquiries and recommending solutions to resolve patient concerns.
