About the Role:

The Production Supervisor oversees daily activities in the industrial, specialty, and medical gas filling operations of a production facility. This role involves managing gas cylinder processing, ultrasonic testing, and ensuring compliance with various regulatory bodies such as FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA.

  • Supervises a team of plant production associates.
  • Collaborates with other Plant Supervisors to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prioritizes safety and compliance, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Assigns tasks based on customer needs, stock levels, and worker skills.
  • Plans production schedules and maintains records.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance production methods and equipment performance.
  • Provides guidance to workers, resolving issues and offering training when needed.
  • Coordinates inventory levels and assists in capital investment planning.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a distribution environment.
  • Preferably experienced with compressed gases and SAP.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and mathematical abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated to quality.
