Job Title: Regional Administrative Coordinator

Pay Grade: SE

Job Summary:

Working under the guidance of the Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Regional Field Operations (DBHDD), the Regional Coordinator (RC) ensures the availability and accessibility of mental health, developmental disability, and substance use disorder services in the region. The RC collaborates to uphold DBHDD's mission and core values, while establishing and nurturing effective relationships with various stakeholders. This role involves providing visionary leadership, informing and executing strategies, driving growth, innovation, and ensuring the efficient delivery of services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the integration and implementation of services to ensure service delivery within the Region.
  • Maintains effective relationships with stakeholders through consistent communication.
  • Establishes criteria for performance measurement and improvement.
  • Supports evidence-based practices and fiscal stewardship.
  • Addresses stakeholder inquiries and grievances promptly.
  • Supervises Regional Services Administrators and collaborates on program objectives.
  • Performs other assigned duties.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated success in leading behavioral health or developmental disability programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent managerial and interpersonal abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting at a desk for prolonged periods and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent travel within the region.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • 6 years' experience managing professional staff.
  • 3 years' experience overseeing service coordination.
  • Knowledge of leading systems in a complex regulatory environment.
