Our client, a prominent law firm, is seeking a Security Engineer to join their team.

Work Location:

New York, NY (Remote Work Option Available)

Summary:

The Security Engineer role involves developing and maintaining the firm's cybersecurity infrastructure. Responsibilities include design and administration of Microsoft 365 Security stack, Azure, Entra ID, Purview, and more. This position plays a vital role in our team's success, contributing to technical projects and ensuring cybersecurity across our hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

Cloud Security:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architecture
  • Establish continuous audit and alerting capabilities
Identity and Access Management:
  • Develop and implement robust identity and access strategies
  • Monitor user access permissions
Data Protection:
  • Utilize Microsoft 365 Security technologies for data protection
  • Monitor data leakage
Incident Response:
  • Lead incident response efforts
  • Implement logging and monitoring solutions
Security Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage security infrastructure
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans
  • Lead incident response and investigations
  • Collaborate with legal and IT teams
Collaboration and Communication
  • Work with stakeholders to conduct risk assessments
  • Align security initiatives with business objectives
  • Communicate security risks and recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Security, or related field
  • Minimum three years of experience in Information Security or similar role
  • Understanding of networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Data Loss concepts
  • Experience in security information and event management log analysis
  • Ability to work independently and fulfill responsibilities diligently
  • Knowledge of secure software development
  • Security certifications are a plus

Pay Range: $135,000 to $165,000
