Essential Tasks for Success
We are in search of a proficient PKI Encryption Engineer who will be instrumental in safeguarding the security and integrity of our systems. This vital position entails supporting the architecture and deployment of our Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and encryption frameworks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in cryptographic methodologies, possess a comprehensive understanding of PKI, and show the capability to establish and uphold secure cryptographic environments.
- Architect and deploy encryption and PKI frameworks to secure digital transactions, communications, and data.
- Oversee and maintain the encryption infrastructure to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on cryptographic key management, including key generation, distribution, and revocation.
- Keep informed on industry advancements and emerging technologies related to PKI, encryption, and cybersecurity to bolster our security stance.
- Manage daily operations of PKI services, including certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and key management.
- Lead automation efforts to optimize PKI processes and improve service delivery efficiency.
Qualifications:
Skills That Will Enhance Your Success
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- At least 6 years of advanced experience in a technical engineering role focusing on PKI technologies, including digital certificates, Certificate Authorities (CAs), and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
- In-depth knowledge of cryptographic protocols, algorithms, and key management practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating security processes and developing use cases.
- Ability to convert complex business and functional requirements into structured, high-quality implementations using various industry-standard methodologies.
- Advanced technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to devise alternative solutions to intricate problems and recommend optimal solutions to technology business and project teams.
