Job Summary:

  • Support the Property Management team's end-of-lease accounting process for single-family rental homes.
  • Handle Yardi reconciliation of security deposits post-resident move-out.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Property Management staff with Deposit Accounting requests, prioritizing Genuine Care.
  • Conduct detailed audits of resident ledgers and move-out documents for accurate end-of-lease accounting.
  • Stay updated on legal requirements for security deposit returns.
  • Prepare resident refunds and communicate account statements in compliance with State laws.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in real estate development, hospitality, or property management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Yardi and SharePoint software preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and accounting systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, make quick decisions, and maintain confidentiality.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.

Salary Range: $38.38 per hour
