Fleming Complete, LLC and Fleming West, LLC are in search of a skilled Project Accountant to support both divisions. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of construction financial management principles and the capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

Fleming Complete is a reputable and agile commercial general contractor serving a diverse range of sectors, including automotive, aviation, education/childcare, food service, industrial, office, and retail clients in the Phoenix Metro area.

Fleming West is a well-established subcontractor specializing in commercial metal building projects. Since 1997, we have catered to various industries such as automotive, aviation, education, industrial, office, and retail within the Phoenix Metro area.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process all accounts payable invoices for both companies.
  • Generate and submit all accounts receivable invoices, including AIA's, to clients with assistance from project managers.
  • Release vendor payments and collect necessary lien waivers to facilitate client payments. Ensure all documents are saved as required.
  • Electronically archive all preliminary lien requests received.
  • Request, receive, and electronically save copies of vendor Certificates of Insurance.
  • Generate job cost reports and regularly communicate performance metrics to relevant parties, including the project manager.
  • Reconcile credit card statements monthly (currently Bank of America, WEX Fuel, and Home Depot) and import activity into accounting software.
  • Act as the primary contact for expense report corrections and submissions.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and secure files for the company.
  • Participate in construction project rollover meetings with a focus on accounting responsibilities.
  • Verify data entry for construction projects in the accounting system (Foundation).
  • Submit requests for Butler iConnect reimbursements.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3 - 5 years of accounting experience in a construction environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in accounting.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills to develop and interpret financial reports.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional computer proficiency with an understanding of current technology:
    • Foundation accounting software.
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate Level): Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive.
    • AutoDesk Build experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth; ability to identify weaknesses and discuss improvements.
  • Detail-oriented, personable team player who considers the impact of their work on others.
  • Willingness to embrace challenges and adapt within a dynamic and flexible environment.
SCHEDULE

40-hour work week

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

PAY

Compensation based on experience, ranging from $26.44 to $31.25 per hour.
