A community health and services organization in Manhattan is seeking an Assistant Program Director. As the Assistant Program Director, youll be managing the program, providing administrative and clinical support, as well as performing duties according to different principles.

The base pay range for this position is $38 to $40 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small caseload.
  • Conduct client assessments and develop client-centered treatment goals.
  • Assist clients in accessing entitlement programs, psychiatric services, medication management, rehabilitation, and other activities.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff and interns, evaluating their work and discussing client progress.
  • Assist with program administration, including managing staff schedules and overseeing financial reporting.
  • Assist in developing and ensuring adherence to Policies and Procedures in alignment with other departments and organizations

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work or Psychology
  • LMSW or MHC LP NYS License
  • 2 years of experience working with mental health, homeless services, or justice involved systems
