Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Program Director to join our team at Roads to Success Inc. As a key member of our program staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our youth development programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Administration
    • Assist the Program Director in the day-to-day management of the program, including supervising staff and participants.
    • Provide administrative support, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Youth Development
    • Utilize principles of positive youth development to create a safe and supportive environment for participants.
    • Build positive relationships with participants and staff, and act as a role model.
  • Program Development
    • Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of program activities, including special events and field trips.
    • Help create program schedules and enroll participants in scheduled activities.
  • Staffing and Program Supervision
    • Assist the Program Director with the hiring and supervision of program staff.
    • Supervise and support program delivery staff around facilitation, health & safety, and principles of youth development.
  • Family Engagement
    • Meet with parents and assist with planning and conducting staff and program orientation sessions.
    • Coordinate with the Program Director around providing family/caregiver support and resources.
  • Program Procedures and Safety
    • Comply and enforce all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
    • Work with participants to quickly and appropriately resolve any incidents.
  • Professional Development
    • Participate in meetings and workshops that enhance professional skills.
    • Apply skills and knowledge acquired in those trainings to improve program quality.
Requirements
  • College credits in Education or related field.
  • At least one year of administrative experience.
  • At least two years of experience supervising school-age programs.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
  • Strong skills in communication, punctuality, and teamwork.
