About the Position:

As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing our attorneys with comprehensive legal and administrative support. The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 years of experience as a legal assistant, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with legal e-filing and calendaring is a valuable asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication: Engage professionally with clients through phone, email, and in-person interactions, conduct interviews, and address inquiries.
  • Research and Briefing: Conduct initial background research and brief the attorneys on the outcomes.
  • Administrative Support: Manage administrative duties such as copying documents, sending invoices, and organizing client files.
  • Meeting Support: Participate in meetings with attorneys, take accurate notes during proceedings, and offer necessary assistance.
  • Document Management: Organize and prepare documents for court filings and record-keeping, as well as transcribe and proofread legal documents.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate client appointments and court dates, maintain attorney calendars, and arrange travel logistics.
  • Legal Filing: Proficiency in e-filing within State, Federal, and Appellate courts using platforms like TrueFiling, OneLegal, File&Serve, and ECF/Pacer is highly preferred.
  • Confidentiality: Uphold client confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
