Location Information

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury.

Saint Therese at St. Odilia is our most intimate community, housing 8-beds and a compassionate team driven by the goal of enhanced quality of life through comforting hospice and palliative care. This unique, home-like location ensures those impacted by advanced chronic illness experience person-centered care in a peaceful, serene setting.

Responsibilities - Cook

The cook is responsible for creating high quality food for customers by meal preparation and meal service consistent with established state and local food code and regulations, procedures and best practices. Job duties include cooking, baking, equipment and operations cleaning, etc.

Prepares hot and cold meals for residents, coffee shop and special functions, and performs general cleaning duties.

Special knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Ability to read English and follow diet cards, menus and production sheets.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Ability to communicate through oral and written skills.
  • Able to meet physical demands of position.
