Job Summary


The Vegetation Technician II plays a critical role in ensuring the health of stock plants, clones and young plants yet to flower.

This position is responsible for the overall timely plant movement, ensuring the health and vitality of the plants, and maintaining a clean and organized cultivation environment.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take direction from Cultivation Manager and/or Director of Cultivation.
  • Maintain an accurate record of daily tasks, issues and corrective actions will be required.
  • Set the schedule of teen plants moving from the veg room to flowering rooms.
  • Water plants as per required schedule.
  • Prepping the clones to be transplanted.
  • Transplanting clones to correct container and room.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the veg room.
  • Monitor plants for changes in growth and etc.
  • Give direction Veg Tech I's working in veg room.

Qualifications

  • HS or equivalent combination of training and experience, AA degree preferred but not required.
  • Must possess a valid Desert Hot Springs CID Badge.
  • Experience working with Cannabis required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check conducted by the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
  • Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Work Environment

  • This position will work in an indoor manufacturing facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and working in proximity with staff.

Job Requirements

  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities, not hours; must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule.
  • Must be able to travel to other office locations.
  • Ability to use a computer and calculator for 8 hours or more.
  • Required to have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving history. Must have own transportation.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
