As the Senior Director/ Vice President of Product Design, you will be responsible for building and nurturing a stronger product design team, leading the team in developing and implementing a global design strategy to drive innovation in product experience and business growth.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, and R&D, to ensure that design solutions meet market demands and align with the company's overall business objectives.
What You'll Be DoingDevelop and implement a global design strategy, aligned with the company's long-term goals and vision.
Manage and guide the design team, fostering innovative thinking and improving design quality.
Work closely with other departments to ensure the effective implementation of design strategies and concepts.
Responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of the design team.
Drive and maintain design consistency, ensuring all outputs comply with brand standards.
Regularly review and optimize design processes to ensure efficiency and high-quality outputs.
Monitor the latest design trends and competitive dynamics to ensure the company remains competitive in the industry.
What We Look For In You
At least 10 years of design experience, with at least 5 years in a management position.
Deep experience in product design, copy design, design systems, and branding, able to provide best practices and high-level insights in terms of quality and efficiency.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent stress management skills, capable of handling challenges from multiple aspects and dimensions simultaneously.
Bilingual communication abilities (English, Chinese).
