As Sales Development Specialist, you are going to become part of an exclusive team that is proud and passionate about the value it is creating by revolutionizing the legal industry. Your focus will be developing, managing, and delivering Sales Qualified Leads through outbound efforts, building and leading our events calendar and assisting in additional marketing efforts.

In this role you will conduct research on prospects and key accounts, qualify cold and warm leads via outbound calling and e-mail, and nurture leads throughout the buyer's journey with curiosity and a true willingness of wanting to help them with their business.

Individuals that are successful in this role possess an innate passion for learning about how marketing and sales interact and have a genuine interest in talking with people. If you can show a multi-tasking, can-do attitude, with great communication skills and the tenacity to win, you will thrive in this role that will give you unique life experience in both sales and marketing.

You will have the opportunity to build skills in sales and marketing and find your career path. The Role will report to the VP of Marketing, and must be located in the greater Santa Barbara/Los Angeles area. It will be a hybrid role, with some days on site at a co-working space near downtown Santa Barbara. Flexible hours and schedule throughout the week.

Responsibilities:

This is an entry level role within the organization that is great for someone who is looking to gain experience in both marketing and sales. You will have an agile work environment, tackling multiple projects throughout the day.

  • Gain expert knowledge of CloudLex and our customer value proposition
  • Clearly understand Ideal Customer Profile, Personas, Lead Qualification, Ranking and Lead Funnel Management
  • Identify, nurture, develop and deliver Sales Qualified Leads to the Account Executives
  • Cold call into prospective accounts and nurture them into opportunities
  • Become an integral part of our event and overall promotion strategy
  • Assist in marketing projects, webinars, videos and support tasks
  • Create, manage and drive warm inbound leads (via social media, content promotion, webinars, nurture email campaigns and more) as well as identify key outbound leads by engaging with potential customers via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Schedule meetings and develop new business opportunities to fuel CloudLex's growth.
  • Work in tools such as , HubSpot, Outreach and other platforms
  • Become a trusted expert in personal injury legal tech, discover the struggles and problems prospects are dealing with, and articulate how our software can help them

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Self-starter with excellent listening, verbal, and written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ownership, result oriented, and willingness to overcome obstacles and challenges
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, customer focus, and highly data-driven are musts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Personal experience or knowledge of the civil litigation process
  • Experience working at a law firm or at a SaaS company
  • Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling
  • Experience in managing social media channels
