We are excited to announce an opportunity at L'Arche Greater Washington, D.C.

L'Arche GWDC is dedicated to providing homes, residential services, and a sense of belonging for adults with intellectual disabilities within an intentional, inter-denominational Christian community.

Currently expanding in Arlington, VA, we are seeking a talented individual for the position of Director of Human Services and Advocacy to join our well-established Executive Leadership Team.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of L'Arche's Medicaid Waiver and local government contract services delivery and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with the Community Leader to protect, facilitate, and expand the mission of L'Arche through strategic leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
  • Advocate on behalf of L'Arche and its community members.
  • Ensure high-quality implementation of services and compliance with contracts.
  • Supervise the review and updates of organizational policies and procedures.
  • Provide oversight for human resources management and operational functions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Passionate about the identity and mission of L'Arche.
  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience in relevant areas such as social work, law, or non-profit management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional and management experience.
  • Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) certification in DC and VA.

Salary & Benefits:

  • An annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience.
