Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

As a Staff Accountant you will:

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and fulfill month-end close duties within specified timelines.
  • Maintain monthly work-papers, conduct reconciliations, review GL data, and post journal entries.
  • Review and reconcile corporate credit card transactions.
  • Support year-end audit processes, participate in annual budgets, forecasting, and tax projections.
  • Mentor and contribute to the professional growth of fellow staff accountants.

Required Skills for Staff Accountant Applicants:

  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Strong aptitude with accounting software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
