Dynamic Tax Manager Opportunity

A rapidly expanding CPA Firm is seeking a passionate Tax Manager to spearhead our thriving tax practice division. Our team comprises dedicated, driven, and vibrant individuals, and we're eager to welcome an equally dynamic professional to fuel the momentum of our high-growth company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and management to clients and staff in federal and state taxation.
  • Prepare and/or review moderate and complex business and personal income tax returns, including multi-state and client tax planning using Ultra Tax software.
  • Prepare and/or review trust, estate, and gift tax returns.
  • Lead tax research and development and train staff members.
  • Serve as a relationship manager for select clients.
  • Participate in business development efforts with potential for future equity participation.
  • Review and/or maintain financial accounting records for client companies.
  • Occasional review of payroll and sales tax filings.
  • Participate in consulting, special projects, and additional assignments.
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting, a master's degree in taxation is a plus.
  • CPA or EA designation in active status is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in federal and multi-state income taxation.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of federal and multi-state tax laws and standard accounting procedures.
