Job Summary

The North America Field Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives who oversee the specialty store business across all SWIM USA brands. This role requires a highly organized and strategic thinker who can support the day-to-day management of a robust customer base and broad brand portfolio. In addition, this individual must also focus on driving immediate growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities to open new accounts, expand market share, and establish effective sell-in strategies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Business Management:
    • Work closely with individual sales reps and internal cross functional teams to ensure day-to-day needs of the customer are met, including addressing questions and resolving issues related to orders, shipping, returns, etc.
    • Collaborate on the operation and execution of NuORDER. Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure data is loaded correctly and flowing properly, users are optimizing the platform and leveraging all available sell-in features.
    • Hold quarterly NuOrder-related trainings, workshops and offer ad hoc support to sales reps as needed.
    • Deliver weekly business updates to sales reps, including best seller announcements, ATS opportunities, pricing changes, promotions, key milestones and deliverables.
    • Address customer requests for co'op/ marketing support, review with divisional sales leads for approval and collaborate with cross functional teams to execute.
    • Manage administrative tasks related to new account approvals, allowance forms, return authorizations and commissions.
    • Coordinate kickoff presentations with sales reps for new product releases and manage the distribution of sample kits and materials.
  • Forecasting and Sales Reporting:
    • Partner with divisional sales leads at the beginning of each season to align on topline specialty forecasts. Track, monitor and regularly communicate updates and / or risks to the forecast.
    • Partner with individual sales reps at the beginning of the season to align on specialty forecasts at the customer / brand level. Track, monitor and conduct (at minimum) monthly sales calls to review performance.
    • Create and distribute monthly booked vs shipped reports for all U.S. and Canadian sales reps, analyzing data across division, brand, sales rep, customer and territory to identify challenges and align on opportunities for revenue growth.
    • Report monthly financials to divisional sales leaders and Executive team.
  • Prospecting:
    • Partner with sales reps to create individual prospecting lists at the beginning of the season. Track, monitor and conduct (at minimum) monthly sales calls to review progress.
    • Support the sell-in process as needed for prospective customers, including developing and distributing "pitch decks," negotiating deal sheets, engaging in product presentations, etc.
    • Obtain and circulate lead lists.
  • B2B Marketing
    • Create and manage wholesale marketing calendar.
    • Work closely with divisional sales leads and marketing counterparts to create B2B emails. Track engagement and deliver detailed analysis on results.
  • Trade Shows & Trunk Shows:
  • Manage trade show calendar and budget for the entire organization.
  • Help oversee tradeshow execution, including set-up/breakdown, sample shipping, assets, etc.
  • Manage appointment scheduling / master calendar for all tradeshows.
  • Create and circulate post-mortem recap after each tradeshow, including detailed ROI analysis.
  • Research new tradeshows.
  • Develop a strategy for trunk shows, seek out opportunities, and coordinate with cross functional teams to execute.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Must possess a BA or equivalent experience.

Skills:

  • Must possess at least three years' working experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums.
  • Highly organized and effective time management skills.
    • Must be able to work independently and with a team.
    • Proficiency in Excel required. Experience with NuOrder, Qlik and Clickup preferred.
    • Must be able to clearly communicate to leadership, including business updates, financial plans and "big ideas."
    • Analytical skills required. Must be able to make data driven decisions.
    • Ability to take initiative and be creative, while simultaneously taking direction from leadership.
    Travel: as neededWorking Conditions: Office - flexible hybrid schedule - 3 days in officePhysical Demands:
    • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk 8 hours/day.
