Job Description:

Data Engineering Pipeline Development Engineer (Contract) We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Pipeline Development Engineer to join our team on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be tasked with developing a common library of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations essential for building robust data products.

This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles and the ability to leverage existing pipeline SDKs, such as Azure Machine Learning pipelines.

The engineer will be responsible for integrating open-source codebases and cloud platform pipeline services to avoid redundant development, ensuring that our data engineering efforts are efficient and scalable.

Applicants must possess a strong background in software engineering practices, as they will be expected to implement standard DevOps workflows tailored for data product development.

The goal is to create a framework that streamlines the creation of new data products and data engineering workflows. Experience with cloud services, automation tools, and a proven track record of developing and maintaining ETL pipelines are essential.

The engineer will play a critical role in enabling our team to deliver high-quality data solutions by providing a standardized set of tools and processes.


Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required 5-7 years of experience.
