Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data models and programming development with business needs.
  • Implement data engineering strategies for complex projects from beginning to end.
  • Design and deploy highly reliable, scalable, and timely data products.
  • Effectively communicate data engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide system analysis, design, development, and testing.
  • Identify and resolve data anomalies and gaps in collaboration with the Data Quality team.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes.
  • Optimize query performance for scalability and efficiency.
  • Create, manage, and optimize data pipelines for timely and accurate data processing and delivery.
  • Develop and implement match and merge rules, trust matrices, and match paths.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in conceptual, logical, and physical modeling.
  • 3+ years of experience building and optimizing big-data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
  • 3+ years of experience with Python and related big-data engineering technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing cloud data products in platforms such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, GCP.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with both relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores.
  • Experience with containerization and microservices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Linux and Unix.
